It never ceases to amaze me the short-sightedness of government when it decides its programs for school education. It limits its funds to area of academia and set area of people who can afford to send their children to set schools; not realising the potential of missing out on other skills which can well support our flagging economy, or the loss of unrecognised genius.

The statement alone reveals that the system was 'UNFAIR' in the first place by definition.
So they are now trying to fix it, well done.
