Pope, Anglican leader agree need for closer ties: "VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The archbishop of Canterbury and Pope Benedict agreed the need for closer ties between their churches on Saturday, in their first meeting since last month's surprise Vatican offer to disaffected Anglicans.
